SUPERNATURAL TIE

How she knew I’ll never know,

Tracks she made, to where she’d go.

She never wondered to and fro,

In her dreams, to where she’d go.

She knew the backdrop of the frame,

When she trekked, across the plain.

The journeys long, not spent in vain,

Expand her heart, across the plain.

Directed here by HIS hand,

This holy place, to where she’d land.

Planted seeds, to make her stand,

A sacred place, to where she’d land.

Followed not, the world of thee.

A path from HIM, in the land of free.

Set in stone, her roots grew deep.

The love she bore, in the land of free.

From many tongues came no pence,

For many things, the world can’t sense.

Such her love and forward whence,

Calloused hands, the world can’t sense.

Oh...this place she picked to die.

This fruited plain, to Heaven nigh!

Her blood still runs this prairie high.

The view from here, to Heaven nigh!
