Love pure
Who in this world isn't drawn to a child,
And the innocence they bring to our being.
Who can resist the heart whole and pure,
In the look of the young in their dreaming.
Wonder they seek, new thrills that they find,
The amazement that flood-fills their eyes.
It beckons the call that purity's real,
And that love lives the sweet by and by.
The ageless in youth, untamed in their wisdom,
It brings each of us back to our roots.
For sin isn't theirs, hatred means nothing,
And malice does not fill their boots.
