Kimmi Lewis is a Legend

A drive into the valley,

Muddy might it be.

You’ll find the tracks

Of legends past,

Of heroes who could see,

That time would turn the tale,

Away from freedom’s theme.

That men abroad,

Would covet sod.

Secured by others dreams,

Of destined days endowed,

By those who dared to stand.

Into the storm,

Through hide and horn,

For liberty and land!

Ah! She fails to come and go,

Through reckless, Tyrant deeds.

She stands her ground,

In faith full-found,

This legend of the seed,

Born unto a favored land.

An heiress of tradition!

Her might and strength,

Deny no length,

For freedom from perdition!

Kimmi Lewis is a legend!

Beyond these Canyon walls.

Tenacious, true,

Like legends few,

For freedoms lasting call!
